Standard Miniature X-ray Sources
Our M25, M47, M54 and M237 miniature x-ray monoblocks are precision x-ray generators designed for applications that require small size and low power consumption. The source includes a miniature sealed x-ray tube with a transmission-type end window and a high voltage power supply encapsulated in a single radiation-shielded unit. The source is designed specifically to be used as a component of a handheld, portable, or benchtop x-ray instrument.

Threaded Collimator Adapter Option* |

The x-ray source can be purchased with a threaded adapter permanently installed at the output window. The adapter enables custom made or standard x-ray collimators to be easily mounted to the x-ray source. This option is useful for laboratory setups or prototype experiments. See drawing for dimensional specifications. |
Collimator and Plug Kit

The collimator and plug kit consists of two collimators and a plug to facilitate collimation or shielding of the x-ray output. The 1mm and 2mm diameter brass collimators are supplied with aluminum inserts to reduce scattered x-rays. A threaded retainer is provided which screws into the threaded collimator adapter and holds the collimators or plug in place. |
